For over 13 years, I have focused my career on helping people find the perfect four to nine room home in the Upper West Side, Upper East Side and Tribeca Neighborhoods in the price range of $1.5 to $12 million.

Parents »

My greatest pleasure in Real Estate is to help parents navigate the market by educating them on both neighborhood highlights including schools and finding that very special home to raise their children in. It is a most honorable role to play in people's lives.

Buyers moving to NYC »

I have worked extensively with people relocating into Manhattan from around the US and from overseas including London, Milan, Hong Kong and Dubai. I have developed great skill in helping people prepare in advance for their visit with on-line tools used to acclimate you to Manhattan. An in-depth knowledge of neighborhoods is necessary to help relocate people unfamiliar with Manhattan. I become a relocating person's best friend during their house hunting visits by introducing them to neighborhoods, restaurants, schools, shopping and transportation. Most importantly, I listen carefully to their hopes in order to find them the perfect property best suited to their needs.

Man on the Go…

I love dashing around New York City helping people achieve their dreams by getting a seller an unprecedented price for their most valuable tangible asset, or seeing the excited smiles on people’s faces when they’ve found the place to make Manhattan their second home, or to raise their family and last a lifetime.

Premium quality customer service and prompt, financially sound results are of the greatest importance to me. With a positive and calming resolve, and a gratitude for your trust I promise to become your formidable source for up to the minute market information and access to all of Manhattan's listings, for valuable broker to broker relationships paramount to a smooth transaction and a commitment to flawless personal service whether you are a buyer or a seller. I also strive to get at the heart of what makes people tick and to protect people from what can be the negatives of a competitive market place.

A Formidable resource…

With a tenured track record at the firm I began my career in 1996 by winning Corcoran's Rookie of the Year Award as the firm's most promising new agent that year and continue to remain in our top 2% of highly professional brokers.

I have been frequently distinguished for doing a higher volume of deals than many other brokers. “Scott is a pleasure to work with. He held numerous open houses to sell our UWS co-op.”

Scott was a pleasure to work with for several reasons. He was very knowledgeable about market conditions and apartment values, he had some very good suggestions about how to price my Upper West Side co-op, and he worked his tail off to push the deal through, including hosting many open house events. That was particularly important. A previous agent from another firm simply didn’t give as much time, didn't put in as much effort as Scott and was not as up to date on market conditions. Scott helped us a lot in the negotiation process. Scott is a pleasure to work with personally and made sure he kept us up to date frequently on the status of things.

I think that there's a wide range of quality in real estate agents in the city, and Scott is one of the few who I would definitely recommend to others. I find purchasing property in New York to be an extremely stressful process, but Scott really shepherded me through the whole ordeal. He had a great attitude the entire time, stayed very calm, and was extremely organized, which really helped me to relax. He put in a huge amount of effort to find me the apartment I wanted, and he worked hard to make sure my bid was accepted. Scott came through in a situation that I really wasn't looking forward to, and I would definitely work with him again if I ever decided to enter the market again.

Scott is a consummate professional, and I would definitely recommend him as an agent. He knows the market extremely well, and he was able to give me a range of possible pricing levels for my apartment depending on whether I wanted to sell it quickly or try to maximize my profit. He was incredibly helpful with staging the apartment for viewings, and he knew every little detail that would really entice buyers, from a different bed comforter to adding a houseplant. He kept me informed every step of the way, and we went to contract with a buyer just one week after putting the property on the market. My entire experience with Scott was 100% positive, and I feel very lucky to have chosen him as my agent.

Working with Scott was unbelievable. I've dealt with a lot of agents throughout the country, and I can't think of anyone better. I would definitely recommend him. I was looking to sell my apartment at the peak of the market in Manhattan, and Scott did an absolutely great job with the property. He worked hard to present the apartment as positively as he could, and he put in a huge amount of effort with open houses and showings. He got to know potential buyers to try and find the right one for the property, and he always followed up afterwards. His professionalism continued through the transaction process, and he kept me informed throughout the entire sale. Overall, the sale was extremely quick and easy, and I owe most of that, if not all of it, to Scott.
“Scott is responsive and persistent but he never pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable. He genuinely cares.”

I have bought and sold many homes in my life. Buying my second home in New York through Scott, however, was the first time that I have ever had an enjoyable experience working with a real estate agent. I think that this speaks volumes. Scott is responsive and persistent, but he did not pressure me or make me uncomfortable. He showed a genuine concern in the right areas and never imposed high-stress sales tactics. He made us feel very comfortable, and was very patient. Scott showed me homes within my expressed price range and specifications. He is thorough, knowledgeable and reliable. If I need to buy or sell again in New York, Scott will be the first person I call.

When my husband and I decided to move our family to a larger apartment, we talked with a number of agents before entering the market. Scott was the only one who seemed to be able to take care of a lot of the stress of buying and selling, and that's why we've recommended him to so many of our friends already. He really listened to our needs as a family before sifting through his huge knowledge of listings to find appropriate properties for us. Every apartment he showed us was near a good school and in a great area for raising young children. By the time we found our home, he knew us so well that he predicted we'd purchase the property before we even walked in. He was completely in tune with us and truly cared to find us the best possible home for our needs, and he definitely succeeded.
“In every respect, Scott is the complete package. He's a cut above the rest.”

Scott possesses every single attribute I could ever hope for in a real estate agent. He's impeccably honest and has tremendous integrity, which has earned him respect within the real estate industry and allowed him to build connections and relationships that many agents can't. When my wife and I hired Scott, we wanted to look at Tribeca, SoHo, the West Village, and the Upper West Side. Scott had an incredible encyclopedic knowledge of the buildings, price ranges, and histories of all four of these neighborhoods. It was truly remarkable. He was able to show us properties in each area that stayed within our price range and preferences. He was inexhaustible in the search, and I think we must have looked at over 100 apartments and made six bids before finding our home. Scott was extremely adaptable to the morphing market, as well. He understood that we wanted a property that would retain its value for at least five years, and the level of discussion which we were able to hold rivaled that of investment bankers. He completely understood the financial aspect of real estate and was up to date with every change in the market. I would very enthusiastically recommend Scott to anyone, and I take every opportunity I can to do just that. It's a whole new experience purchasing with Scott.
“Scott is remarkably caring. He treated me like his most important client.”

Scott is an exceptional broker whose limitless knowledge of New York City real estate and uncanny understanding of market trends is as impressive as his kind and gentle persona. It is the insight and compassion with which he approaches his work that makes him extraordinary. I began the process of buying a home in New York City with great trepidation and the fact that it turned out to be a most fun and memorable experience is a tribute to Scott as a professional and as a human being. After what felt like endless months of searching, we found a home and our bid was accepted. Although I was relieved to find a home, I had many doubts about the choice we made. Scott called me the next day and said that he wasn't sure about the home, either. He showed our family another home he'd found and we loved it the minute we walked in it. Almost two years later, we love it even more! I would definitely recommend Scott to family and friends.

Scott really defines what one should be in an agent. He does his homework in preparation of the transaction and during the process, he is always on top of everything. Scott helped my husband and I purchase a second home in Tribeca. He worked tirelessly on our behalf and was very thorough. To this day, Scott continues to be enormously helpful. He's fabulous.

I worked with Scott when we relocated from DC to New York earlier this year. When we were thinking about moving, we first interviewed three agents, and asked all of them to spend half a day with us. Based on his approach and our meetings, we decided to go with Scott. This was definitely the best decision we could have made. Over the next year, Scott kept in touch with at least an email or two a month, to share some ideas and information about the market. Once we finally decided to relocate, we worked with Scott over the course of six weeks to find our ideal home. I think what sets him apart from other agents is that he really listens to your needs and responds accordingly. Further, he asks really good questions. Each new property that we saw was closer to what we wanted than the property we saw before. Ultimately, Scott found us what we were looking for. Buying a house is definitely a huge step in today’s economy . I believe that Scott isn’t about the "sell," but rather he is about helping you make the right decision.
“As first-time buyers, we were extremely grateful to have Scott on our side.”

My husband and I purchased our first home through Scott, and our experience working with him could not have been better. He made us feel like we were his only clients, and we certainly weren't the most wealthy clients he was working with at the time. Scott understood that first-time buyers need to be informed about the process of purchasing property in the city, and he did a great job teaching us about the market and making a potentially scary situation into something fun and exciting. He found us a wonderful co-op in the Upper East Side, and took care of all the negotiations regarding the property, which shielded us from a lot of stress. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott to anybody, and I do so whenever I can.

I work for a large corporation which relocates individuals to New York City; I have worked with Scott in this context on a number of occasions since 2007. I would recommend Scott highly and without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell in New York. He exemplifies what a real estate agent needs to be. Scott is responsive and service-oriented. He did a great job keeping both me and the individuals he worked with informed and up to date. Scott is hands-down the best agent I’ve met.

My husband and I were working with another broker when we landed in a bit of a predicament. We had sold our Chelsea apartment and had signed a contract for a home on the Upper East Side, but the deal fell through one day before we had planned to leave for a vacation. The problem was that by the time we returned, we had to be moved out, so we were afraid we'd return without a home. Our broker referred us to Scott, and Scott found us a place to rent in just one day. Before he took us to look at apartments, he pre-screened every property to make sure it fit our criteria for a home. We ended up being extremely satisfied with the rental he found us, and since our initial experience with Scott, we've worked with him two additional times when the owners of our rentals decided to sell the properties. Once the rush to find an apartment was over, Scott really took the time to get to know us, to meet our family, and we've had an ongoing conversation regarding our eventual real estate goals since then. In all of our experiences with Scott, he's never wasted our time. He clearly enjoys what he does, and it shows in his work ethic. We continue to return to Scott because we've found him to be incredibly trustworthy, and we've developed a very good relationship with him as an agent. We would definitely recommend Scott to others looking to buy or rent, especially if the situation is in need of immediate results. He works extremely well under pressure, and he makes the client his top priority.
