Lori is a very hardworking real estate agent. Although she was new to the uptown market she thoroughly acquainted herself with Harlem prior to working with me on this sale. Lori brought in more than one offer and also the final sale. I would recommend Lori as an agent. She works hard, communicates what is necessary with out the “drama” that some agents fall into, and is honestly enthusiastic about her work. Her excitement is another rarity when dealing with pessimistic Manhattan brokers. As a Real Estate developer, I appreciate her straightforward approach, her ambition, and her ability to engross herself in my end focus – a profitable sale.

My experience with working with Lori in the past and currently is really positive. She is professional but not stiff so you know she makes potential buyers comfortable, she explains everything and goes over options and offers her thoughts but does not push them on you. She is very savvy and connected – she got my apartment shown and written about in the “On the Market” column in the New York Times. She is a go-getter and really great to work with. I would recommend her to anyone that I knew that needed a broker. Plus she listens and doesn’t just jump at the first offer or the first apartment that I could buy – she really works for you. Again, you can tell she is connected and sharp. Buying and selling is really stressful and she really makes you feel that she is taking care of you and has everything under control because she does.

Lori is completely honest and highly effective. On my purchase, Lori prepared the Board package extremely well. As this was my first purchase of a co-op, her help in the preparation was extremely important. I rarely make recommendations, but I have and will continue to recommend Lori for anyone interested in getting a deal done from either the buyer perspective or as a seller. Also, I will be using her services again the moment I get back into the market. Lori possesses a number of traits that really lend to being successful. She is an excellent and active listener; she is realistic; she is friendly and disarming and she is honest. I seriously doubt that I could have had a better experience buying or selling an apartment in New York City.

I find Lori to be energetic and very positive. She's also exceptionally professional, and these attributes combine to make her a great agent. I originally hired Lori to help me sell my brownstone property, but when the market started to fall, we both realized I wasn't going to get the price I wanted on the apartment. Lori suggested that I rent the space out. Going into a situation like that, I really depended on her to come up with an appropriate rent and to negotiate it well, and Lori was absolutely fantastic with that. She sat down with my tenant and me and calmly explained both sides of the situation. What I found to be remarkable about Lori is that she didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. By the time the deal went to contract, the market had crashed, and the whole framework of renting had changed. The tenant was no longer responsible for broker fees, and Lori was able to objectively explain to me this new situation. I found her honesty and professionalism to be very commendable. I would absolutely recommend Lori to anyone looking to sell or rent out their property.

I have only positive things to say about Lori. I was helping my cousins sell their home in Harlem, while I was in Maryland, was delighted that Lori could handle a wide range of issues, especially since I was at a distance. Lori definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. Selling my cousin’s house was fairly complicated but Lori made sure to keep me abreast of the situation -- nearly every day. Lori did an amazing job marketing the apartment and getting publicity. She threw an exceptional open house and took all necessary steps to prepare the house for showing. Once the house was sold, she continued to help with the process of moving. Lori is extremely considerate and attentive. I can’t speak highly enough of her work and her attitude. Her way of treating the client is superb. She is very understanding and efficient, and she can handle many different issues at once. During the sale, I switched lawyers and she quickly adjusted. I love the way she dealt with my family as well -- she never lost her cool and was always pleasant. Her word is very dependable and the results couldn’t have been better

Lori did an excellent job finding me my condo on the Upper West Side/Southwest Harlem. Lori is thoughtful, consistent and she understood what I needed. She performed above and beyond throughout the entire process. The negotiation process was quite tricky, and Lori did an great job of muscling through that negotiation and not getting frustrated. I wouldn’t consider using anybody else next time I need to buy or sell.
