I have worked with Leonard multiple times and have always had an excellent experience with him. That's why I continue to use him whenever I have to buy or sell. His ability to have the right kind of potential buyers coming through to look at the apartment and his network is quite extensive. In general, he is extremely pleasant to deal with. I think Leonard is one of the most knowledgeable brokers in New York, especially for condominiums. From a condo perspective, he really knows the market, knows the different areas, the price per square foot and the amenities you can and can't find. It's really a pleasant experience working with someone who really gets it. Leonard understood my requirements and only took me to see apartments that really made sense for what I was looking for. They helped me find movers and helped me find a rental apartment until my loft was renovated. They were a fabulous resource. Leonard is the type of agent who is there when you need him -- 24/7. He works on the weekends, works late at night. He's very driven and motivated, and he's really personable. He's an amazing broker. He's the type of broker who isn't looking out for his needs, but puts your needs first. He's not looking to make a buck. He is very attentive and listens to what you want so he never presents something to you that you wouldn't be interested in or couldn't afford. I would recommend Leonard to anyone looking for an apartment in Manhattan at any price point, especially for a higher price point. I actually have referred Leonard several times.

I am in the real estate business. My group had a sizable number of condominium units that we decided to sell, so I was looking for an agent with whom I could have a long-lasting relationship. Leonard had been recommended to my by another real estate professional as a real estate agent who is as honest, thorough, responsive, straight-forward and hard-working as you will find in Manhattan. Having worked continuously with Leonard for the past two years on the project, I can say that my friend did not stress these attributes enough. Leonard is extremely honest and has a code of ethics that he will not change for anybody. Leonard also really knows his market. He doesn't overestimate the value of an apartment to get you excited. Instead, Leonard promises to do what he says. Given the time period in which I have worked with Leonard, we have worked together through both a bull, and bear, market. In a bull market, it is easy not to over-promise and to over-deliver because demand is so strong. In that market, it's easy to look like a superstar. For the past nine months, we've been dealing with a much weaker sales environment. We were prepared for the bear market, however, and Leonard's expectations and adjustments have been consistent with where the market has gone. Leonard brings a level of professionalism to brokerage which is atypical of the industry. Regardless of price point, Leonard treats people the same -- whether he's selling a home for $12 million home or $500,000. That does not happy enough, especially in Manhattan. Recently, I recommended Leonard to a friend of mine. Even in the worst of times, with very few transactions closing, Leonard executed the sale at a price with which my friend was very happy.

I've interviewed, probably, the best brokers in New York and I truly believe that Leonard is one of the smartest brokers I've ever met. We are so called a "innovative developer'' and it was our goal to create a one-of-a-kind residential project in Manhattan. Because nothing like this had ever been done before in the U.S., finding the right broker to help us present our vision and correctly present our product was extremely important to us. We interviewed many top brokers in New York City and when we met Leonard, we knew he was very talented. He understood how to grasp important issues and he presented the marketing plan in a very creative way. He understood how to deliver our message to potential buyers. Leonard is takes his work very seriously and is extremely professional. He is excellent at following through. He also has a great eye and great taste so he can add his opinion regarding different ideas about the apartments. He can really help you think outside the box, which is terrific. He's also fun and funny. Leonard is especially strong in the Union Square/Village area. I would recommend Leonard to someone considering buying or selling real estate in Manhattan.
