Specialties

Generalists »

As a Senior Vice President at Sotheby's International Realty, I regularly work with buyers from all around the globe. This enables me to market my listings to the broadest possible network of potential buyers. I deal with clients on an as-need basis, whether they are looking to buy or sell an investment property, a pied-a-terre or a personal home. My favorite part of my job is helping find someone the right home for their needs, no matter what the price range.

International clients »

In the past year, I have traveled throughout the world including to France, Italy, Spain, Russia, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Thailand and Abu Dhabbi. At each destination, I have leveraged the Sotheby's International Realty brand to develop a network of clients -- both buyers and sellers. I have helped dozens of international clients move to Manhattan and I teach seminars in Manhattan about buying and investing in NYC real estate.

Townhouses specialists »

In the past two years, I have sold $60 million of Manhattan townhouses.

Ultra-luxury specialists »

I regularly work with buyers from all around the globe and in all price ranges, including homes over $10 million. Buying and selling homes in the ultra-luxury market is unique because there are fewer properties and potential counter-parties.

Agent's personal statement

Buying a home is a very personal statement. I believe when clients look at potential properties they "buy with their heart." That is why I listen to my clients to learn what means most to them and what they consider important. By doing this, I can more effectively and efficiently match my clients with the right home for their needs. Studying the computer listings is not my way; instead, I prefer a more personal approach: finding my clients the right home sometimes comes down to simply having a gut feeling that there is a fit.

One critical aspect of my job is guiding my clients through the process so that they can make confident and educated decisions. That is why I am so diligent in gathering market information and comparable homes. I encourage my clients to see a variety of apartments so that they can get a good sense of the market.

I also am extremely experienced working with international clients. Since most international clients, and non-New Yorkers are unfamiliar with the rules that apply to buying co-ops, condos and townhouses in Manhattan it can be intimidating for these types of clients to purchase a home in the city. Having many years of experience working with non-New Yorkers looking to buy in Manhattan, I hold my clients' hands throughout the process and explain the nuances of purchasing in Manhattan such as putting together a co-op board package and preparing for a co-op board interview.

In March 2009, my apartment’s rent destabilized and I decided that it was time to relocate. When my wife and I started working with Lee, she sent a car and driver that made it very easy for us to search for a new home. That’s basically the way I would describe working with Lee: easy. It wasn’t a long, complicated procedure to find a new home. We found a place in the Upper East Side in one day. I would definitely recommend Lee as an agent. I think she’s a total pro. That says it all.
“Lee has an untiring, positive attitude, and her encyclopedic knowledge of Manhattan real estate is a great resource for buyers.”

Working with Lee is exceptional. I've bought a number of properties around the country, and she's the best broker I've worked with to date. What I found to be remarkable about Lee is her energy. Even after forty or fifty properties, she refused to tire and showed no signs of giving up. In fact, she was just as excited about the fiftieth property as she was the first. Lee's encyclopedic knowledge of Manhattan's neighborhoods and buildings, as well as the architects involved with various properties, was also outstanding. Together, we were able to identify a new property that was exactly what I wanted. I've recommended Lee many times, and I do so whenever I have a friend looking to purchase in Manhattan. I know several friends who have worked with Lee - at least one has both bought and sold with her - and they've all been equally as satisfied with her work. She's truly fantastic.
“Extremely pro-active agent. She is an imaginative marketer.”

I first met Lee a few years ago because I have a townhouse in Washington Square, which is a rare property to own. I received a letter from her that said she was interested in appraising my home free of charge, and I accepted her offer. I met with Lee and her partner Gabrielle, talked with them while they looked at the townhouse, and mentioned that I was interested in investing in the future. About two months later, they called me and said they had a property in Tribeca that I might like. I ended up buying the property and renovating it over the course of two years. Lee and I are currently in the initial stages of putting it on the market. Lee is an extremely pro-active broker. With my investment property, she’s put together a whole team that specializes in the downtown market of Manhattan, and she’s taken the initiative to market it all over the country and internationally. She’s advertised in Hong Kong and Russia already, and I imagine we’ll see some positive results very soon. I would recommend Lee to friends and family, particularly those looking to buy in the Upper East Side. That neighborhood is really her area of expertise, and she knows that market extremely well.
“Lee was there from start to finish which I appreciated as a first-time buyer of Manhattan real estate.”

Lee was a true partner in the process of my first purchase in the city. I think she deserves high marks in every aspect of helping me buy a home in SoHo, from her professionalism to her ability to keep a running dialogue between me and the sellers of the property. Her knowledge of the market, as well as the inventory of information that she made available to me at any time, really facilitated a smooth transaction at a price that made sense to both me and the sellers. She was there from start to finish, and I never felt like I was working alone. My experience with Lee was excellent and I absolutely would recommend Lee to friends and family.
“Lee's knowledge of the market is thorough and she understood our needs.”

My wife and I have worked with Lee on three separate occasions. We’ve both bought and sold property through Lee, and every time we worked together, she’s met our expectations and helped us to achieve exactly what we were hoping for. Her knowledge of the market is exceedingly thorough, and she is adept at understanding her clients’ needs. For me, those are the two most important attributes a realtor can possess. She’s also extremely skilled with the business aspects of realty, such as negotiating prices, persuading potential buyers and sellers, and maintaining an exemplary level of professionalism. I’d definitely recommend Lee to friends or family. She deserves five stars across the board.
“Lee outperformed all the other agent with whom I've worked. She's very perceptive.”

I first met Lee through a friend of mine who was buying a home. I joined them on a couple of occasions, and I really liked the way that Lee worked. Her professional style impressed me. Because of that, I've hired Lee on three separate transactions in the Upper East Side, TriBeCa, and Chelsea neighborhoods. In the past, I’ve worked with a number of other realtors who did their jobs very well, but Lee really outperformed them in all areas. Lee is truly professional. She knows the marketplace well, and she’s extremely perceptive of her clients. When I was in the market to buy, Lee quickly figured out what I was truly looking for. She didn’t just rely on what I had told her, but she watched how I reacted to each apartment we viewed and worked from there. I would absolutely recommend Lee to friends and family, and in fact, I have done so already. Everything from her professionalism to her industry contacts is not only impressive, but essential in today’s market.
