I work on Estate and Trust accounts for a financial institution. As part of my job, I interview many real estate agents on my clients' behalf. I have used Joanne many times to sell the Trust's and Estate's properties and she has done a fabulous job. She works 24/7 and is always is accessible. That is particularly important because when my clients call me with questions, I need to be able to quickly get those questions answered. Joanne is very professional and is highly experienced. Many of my clients sell high-end properties so it is important that the agent really knows the business, and Joanne does. She follows through from the beginning of the deal all the way through the end of the transaction. Not only would I recommend Joanne to friends and family members, but I have already recommended Joanne to friends. My experience working with Joanne was quite positive. From the beginning, Joanne listened to what we were looking for in an apartment. We gave Joanne a description of the type, location and style of property that we were interested in but Joanne asked insightful questions that made us think about why we wanted certain things. Her attentiveness helped us narrow our search. I also found Joanne very helpful because she has been in this market for a very long time. I had never purchased a home in a city, let alone New York City, and therefore, I found myself relying on Joanne for guidance on many occasions while touring properties. She always had a point of view and there were times in which Joanne would explain to me the negatives about a specific apartment that I would never have even thought about. Yet, Joanne never forced her point of view on me. Rather she wanted me to come to my own judgment. Each time that I did ask her for her opinion, however, she had an answer for me. That was extremely helpful, especially given that my initial criteria was neither clear nor crisp. Joanne found the delicate balance between advising me and letting me come to my own conclusions. She was superb on that front. Joanne has a deep knowledge of the neighborhoods in NYC, so she was a great guide. She also held our hand through the entire process. There is a bewildering amount of bureaucracy in NYC but she was great in helping me navigate the mortgage system and the final closing period. Also, I never would have anticipated this making a difference, but Joanne having her own driver was huge. It seems trivial but it made a huge difference. We probably saw five times the number of properties in one day than we would have had we taken cabs. It sounds crazy but it really helped expedite the process.

What I loved about working with Joanne is that she was very professional, non-intrusive, and that she didn’t insult my intelligence. I would absolutely recommend Joanne to anyone looking to make a big transaction in today's market. Joanne was an integral part of every step of my transaction. She understands all the nuances of the New York market, and I think that's rare even in a broker. A lot of people think they understand how real estate works in Manhattan, and to some extent they do, but when it comes to carrying through a transaction, most fail. Joanne is an absolute pro with everything from the signature to the exchange to the closing. We encountered a number of hurdles along the way, and she was patient and instrumental in overcoming them. We closed a pretty big deal in a market that was over-heated. Joanne made sure that everyone was happy with the final agreement, and there really were smiles all around.
