As a proud native New Yorker, I am familiar not only with the city’s appeal and what it has to offer, but also with how to educate buyers about the diverse neighborhoods and the complex world of Manhattan co-ops, condos, townhouses, and new developments. Purchasing or selling real estate in Manhattan is a huge undertaking, investment, and commitment. I work relentlessly on my clients’ behalf and guide them to make sound, informed decisions.

 

My background as a therapist allows me to offer my clients similar professional qualities such as intent listening, insight, and discretion. It is second nature for me to be attentive and confidential when dealing with clients that rely on superior service and maintaining the privacy they deserve. As a result, I can quickly identify a customer’s needs and provide a course of action that greatly benefits and protects buyers and sellers.

 

My initial interest in real estate began while I managed an estate comprised of multiple upscale Manhattan residencies. After only a short time in the field, I was quickly appointed to the position of Vice President. I am currently a resident broker specialist for a Park Avenue co-op. I have a loyal following of discerning and high profile clientele who appreciate my honesty, accessibility, and my tenacity in helping a seller get the most exposure and highest price, or working closely with buyers to successfully secure the perfect property.

Joan helped me to buy a co-op apartment on the Upper East Side. I enjoyed working with Joan because she wasn’t overly pushy and she respected our personal space, but she was also forthright when she needed to be. Joan provided a good balance. I recently bought a Penthouse condo in the West Village through Joan. Joan is great all-around; she is professional, but she also has a great personality. She understands that buying a home is an important and personal decision. As such, she is extremely responsive and she constantly kept me informed about what was available in the market. Her timing is also impeccable. The most recent apartment I purchased was owned by a celebrity. I was the first to see it and I wanted it right away. If I had seen the apartment just two weeks later, it would have already been sold. There was competition for this home, but Joan had the skills to make sure I got the place I wanted. I used to be a broker myself, and I know that Joan is as good as it gets. I would recommend Joan without hesitation. She is great broker, and a pleasure to be around. She made looking for a home an enjoyable experience.
