For buyers, I am unrelenting in my availability to show and pursue properties that match a customer's requirements. As a resident of Manhattan for 20 years, I match client needs to a property's characteristics, using both my professional expertise and personal understanding of an area's amenities.

 

I can refer clients relocating away from New York to an agent that will handle their real estate needs globally: I have successfully referred clients to Hawaii, Asia, Europe, California and the Hamptons. In 2007, I was selected by the Real Estate Board of New York to work upon improving the client and customer experience with regard to the sale and rental of New York City property. A graduate of Cornell University, I earned Bachelor's degrees in both Applied Statistics (with honors) and Psychology. I am a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

I’ve known Glenn professionally for twenty years, so even before I hired him, I knew that he had the experience and expertise necessary to sell my apartment the way I wanted. When Glenn first toured the apartment, he confirmed that he was the right realtor for me. I put quite a bit of money into architectural details in the apartment, and he was able to pick up on even the smallest ones without me making any mention of them. Glenn is a really good listener and he certainly is not pushy. He responds to what people are saying, he doesn't just go by a rote formula. Glenn understands what people are comfortable with and, unlike many brokers, he does not step over those boundaries. In fact, our experience working with other agents was horrific so when we started working with Glenn, I thought "what a relief!" I felt saved. He is a breath of fresh air and he makes the process as stress-free as possible. When it came to the final bid on the apartment we wanted to buy, my husband asked Glenn what he thought it would take. Glenn told us that we might be able to get away with a certain offer, but that for $5,000 more dollars, he thought it was a done deal. He laid out his reasoning and explained why he thought what he thought. His logic made perfect sense. Still, he never pressured us to do anything that we were not comfortable with. Not only was he much more "user-friendly" than most brokers, but he really knew what he was doing. We consider Glenn to be our family broker: he's helped me, my brother and my parents. I approached Glenn last year to help me sell my Upper East Side apartment. Because his area of expertise is downtown, he suggested that we hire another agent to show the apartment, and he offered to work with me in regards to pricing and strategy. I've talked to a lot of brokers, and I've found that many of them don't like being asked reasonable questions. Most of the agents I've worked with just wanted to tell me what my apartment should sell for without explaining their price, and that bothered me. Glenn was completely thorough in his explanations. He didn't just give me comp. information, but he explained what the charts meant, and he provided his own analysis of the market along with what the charts said. He allowed me to glean information from everything and subsequently make informed decisions based on that information. I was confident with every decision I made, and I attribute that to Glenn's hard work. I'd recommend Glenn to anyone looking to buy or sell in the downtown area, or even in the Upper East Side. I've been told that I'm a demanding customer and that I expect a lot. I never once had to ask Glenn for something twice, and when he gave me any information, it was both what I expected and what I needed. I don't think that happens as much as it should anymore, but Glenn is a definite exception to that decline.

Glenn was genuinely interested in finding a home that was suitable for my wife and myself. His main concern wasn't just making a sale, and in fact, he steered us away from a few properties during our search that he didn't think would hold enough long-term value for us. I think very few agents would do that, but Glenn wasn't the salesman type. Glenn was extremely pro-active, but he was never pushy regarding our purchase. I've worked with a number of brokers in the past, and Glenn was by far the most accommodating and most honest of all of them. He helped us find a home that we're still very happy with to this day, and because of that, I've recommended him to anyone I know who's been looking for an apartment, particularly downtown.
